Therapeutic Groups
I am currently starting up a range of therapeutic groups. If you want to express interest in joining any of the following groups, or to get involved, please use the contact form at the end of this page.
- Therapeutic co-operative board gaming group
- Therapeutic Table-Top Role Playing Game group
- Therapeutic walking group
All groups will cost £7 per participant and are currently for adults (18+ only).
Co-operative board gaming group
These groups involve playing from a choice of co-operative board games in order to work on social skills, social anxiety, turn-taking and working as a team amongst other issues.
Table-Top Role Playing Game group
These groups involve playing a role-playing game such as Dungeons and Dragons. This gives people the opportunity to develop their own characters and explore emotions and problems through this character. Participants will work as a team and emotions will safely be explored in the context of the game.
Walking group
Walking groups will take place in or around the Stockport area. Some groups may be themed, e.g bereavement if enough people express interest in one particular theme. Anyone participating is free to bring their own food or soft drinks but I will also provide some snacks and bottles of water.
